The great room rises two full stories, with whitewashed brick, steel casement windows on both levels, and a fireplace clad in a single book-matched slab of green marble. A blackened-steel and glass stair climbs to the roof beneath a new pyramidal skylight; a second skylight brings daylight into the primary bath, where the walls and shower are lined in veined marble around a freestanding tub.
